Dent On Headjoint Flute

2001: A Space Odyssey

Small
post to remember that earlier this month experienced an unprecedented event for the European media. For the first time two bloggers, editors Bloggingportal (the first compilation of blogs portal on the world community) were 'accredited' in a pilot project for 'cover' the EU Competitiveness Council (9 and 10 March).

You can read the impressions of europasionaria here @ and @ RonPatz here. Agree with @ europasionaria Córdoba, where we reminded the score of 'bloggers', I like the nickname euroblogger in this case does not seem that although the network society and undeniable part of 'a European integrated communication' concept which fortunately Susan River never ceases to improve and deepen (European Integrated Communication I and II .)

Without being a specialist in communication, I share many of the questions posed by such La Oreja de Europa. The way we define 'information' and 'view' is transformed, and do not think we should further explore the role for example of bloggers under the parameters that have structured traditional journalism. What future for the notion of 'professionalism' for example, in the sense of specialized training but also a profession 'laboral'-? What criteria define the sources from which we are informed, or perhaps moving towards a system depolarization and 'des-criteria ' information-?

In my opinion the presence of bloggers at the Council of the EU is beyond all possible debates certainly an innovative and positive news. Not so much because this is necessarily the primary way forward (?), But it is the first step to reconsider the questions that really matter: a) how do citizens have the information they crave, and need to exercise our rights and responsibilities, and b) how to make politics an open world, mature and brave.

The debate is not going anywhere. At the moment, infinite happiness to our players for their dedication and unquestionable 'professionalism' and responsibility to carry out the mission. They had a 'mandate' of the blogger world, but as if they did.
